Event Facilities
1. Name of facility: Autodrome St Eustache
2. Location:
1016, boulevard Arthur-Sauvé
Saint-Eustache, Qc J7R 4K3

3. Description of the facility hosting the event
Located just 20 minutes from downtown Montreal, l’Autodrome St Eustache has been a favorite of Montreal AutoSlalom community. Although not used regularly in SoloSport in the last couple of years due to the unavailability of dates, ASE has produced, in the past, some very interesting, challenging and safe AutoSalom courses. Although not a Parking pad, the circuit has very few walls close enough to be of a concern for safety. The track surface has underdone significant renovations in the fall of 2009 and more improvements are planned during the spring of 2010. Its various configurations enable a course designer to create interesting and varied courses not committed by the natural layout of the track. AISA was able to book August 6 for a Test-n-tune, and August 7 and 8 to host a 2 day Autoslalom event; it is with these dates that AISA propose to host the 2010 Canadian AutoSlalom Championship.
4. Amenities the facility has to offer:
Early in the planning stages it became quite clear that only one location was suited to host the 2010 Canadian AutoSlalom Championship in the Montreal Area. Other facilities may have provided a better pad for course design, but none had the facilities available to support a 3 day event for 150 competitors with half of them being out of town.
Paddock Space:
Not always considered for local events, but for the CAC one concern was having enough space for 150 competitors, with up to a third towing their competition cars. St Eustache can easily welcome many morecompetitors than this number, plus the fact that the paddock is separated from spectator parking are a nice feature of this site.
Cafeteria-Lounge:
Knowing that so many competitors will be in unfamiliar surroundings, having the ability to quickly get lunch and refreshments during the competition is a convenience that will be greatly appreciated by competitors. The Cafeteria will be open from 11:30 to 13:30 and will serve the usual track fast food fare. The Lounge, able to seat more than a 100 people will be the meeting area for Drivers Meetings and Award Presentation, all of this in the comfort of shelter in case of rain.
Technical Shed:
Located at the entrance of the paddock the tech shed will provide a common sheltered area for both sign in and scrutinizing. Event results will be posted in the Tech shed.
Spectators Facilities:
Parking: We will have a separate parking area for spectators, as their vehicles will not be permitted in the paddock.
Grandstand: Since spectators, will not have access to the course for safety reasons, the track grandstands will offer a vantage point. Spectators will also be able to see the course from the paddock area.
